the metabolism is the foundation of our entire body, as it describes the function of the body down to the cellular level— regeneration, detoxification, balance, immunity, digestion, sex hormones, & more. our body is made up of cells, so the health of your metabolism is what directly impacts the energetic output of the body.

my wellness journey began when i opened my eyes to the holistic design of the body- the fact that our daily physical, mental, and spiritual choices directly write the story that our body tells. when i was living in complete misalignment with my feminine biological rhythms,  the story that my body told was one of exhaustion, burn-out, and endometriosis.

i reversed my endometriosis alongside of an incredible holistic practitioner who believed in my system’s ability to heal, and this healing journey ended up being the catalyst to becoming a student of the body’s innate design. upon discovering the work of pioneers like dr. ray peat, dr. broda barnes, and hans selye, i experienced one of the largest paradigm shifts of my entire life— redefining what health truly means.

up until that point, i would have defined “healthy” as eating clean, living a low-toxin lifestyle, being active, and maintaining a lower body fat percentage. what i discovered is that there is a far deeper & more objective measure of true health, and it drops all the way down into the cellular level— the health of our metabolism. 

as i embarked on my personal journey of nourishing my body at the cellular level, i had no idea what this would mean for my spiritual and mental health as well. as i created safety + sustainable support from within my cells themselves, my eyes were opened to the areas where i had been outsourcing that safety to others— to people, to systems, to black + white rules. i stepped into a grounded liberation that could fully experience the beauty + nuance of life, because i was finally able to receive it.

this is the journey i hope for each of you to experience within your own bodies.
